Johnny Abegg is an independent filmmaker drawn to introspective storytelling perspectives.
Alongside Abegg’s indi-endeavours, he has been a ’freelance-whatever-ist’, working commercially as a Director, Videographer and Editor, diversifying into Fashion Photography, crossing mediums into Visual Art, Writing and Poetry.
Johnny is passionate about the environment, co-founding Surfers for Climate, a climate advocacy organisation, with a continued vision of riding waves in a thriving ocean.
Abegg resides in Cavanbah/Byron Bay on Bundjalung Country, with wife Elizabeth and three kids.
